Story Locations
- 620 Yuyuen Road: A rented garden house where the Tsai family resides.
- Café de Flore: A café located near the intersection of Boulevard de Montigny and Avenue Edward VII. Frequently visited by a-Ling and Edgar.
- Cathay Hotel: One of Sir Victor Sasson’s many real estate holdings, located at No. 9, The Bund.
- Fuller & Rodger, Law Office: One of the many places Edgar purportedly keeps an office. Located on the second floor of the Arnhold Building at 320 Szechwan Road.
- Park Hotel: The tallest building in Shanghai, famous for its panoramic view, gourmet restaurants and bakery. Located at 164 Bubbling Well Road.
- No. 6, 137 Yates Road: A shikumen lanehouse residence. Headquarter of the Hsü Jan’s Modern Youth Monthly magazine.
- Nantao Refugee Zone: A demilitarized zone established by Father Jaquinot. Encompasses approximately the northern half of the Nantao (Nanshi) District, being the Old Chinese City.
- No. 2, The Bund: The headquarters of Jardine Matheson.
- 76 Jessfield Road: The headquarters of Nationalist Party Central Executive Committee Special Affairs Division, colloquially known as “No. 76”.
- Bubbling Well Police Station: Where Tsai Yü-Cheng is stationed. Located at the intersection of Yuyuen Road and Jessfield Road.
